SIMPLICITY OF LIFE: MONDAY
O Holy Wisdom, we live in a confusing and
complicated world. Grant us that simplicity of life
and singleness of heart that leads to profound wisdom
and deep compassion for the suffering of others.

O God who loves us all equally, help me to see you
in every person I encounter. Let me know that we are
all one in you and that we need each other if we are
to reflect your glory. Each day, show me ways that I
can act to bring people together, that your body may
be whole.

Holy One—Guide us as we seek our path in the quest
for social justice. Help us find ways to persist in this
quest, no matter how discouraged we may feel in the

Lord God, we pray for peace in our fallen world, but
it never seems to come. Inspire us to try new, more
effective ways to heal ourselves and our brethren—
known and unknown. Help us to renew our efforts
when we get discouraged and want to give up! In the
holy name of Jesus, our Lord and only Savior.

God of the still, small voice, help us to remember that
growing in your love means letting go of all that
constricts our hearts, making them spacious, open

others, although I know I am standing with you,
God. Help me to remember that I am known by you
and loved by you. Let me act confidently, upheld in
your infinite embrace.
