Miss Morgan On Vacation: Putnam Elms as a Haven for Community and Companionship
August 15, 2026 | 2-4:30PM
Join us for a special gathering at Putnam Elms, a historic home once owned by Miss Emily Malbone Morgan. In the early 1900s, Miss Morgan utilized this space as a place of rest and renewal for women working in the mills, offering them time for reflection, community, and care.
During this event, attendees will learn more about Miss Morgan’s life and her deep commitment to fostering connection and supporting working women. To this day, her legacy of deep faith, compassion, and community care continues to inspire women in the Society and beyond.
We invite you to experience this unique setting and reflect on the stories shared.
